PalCommand legal

Terms of sale

Version 1.0 — 6 August 2026. PalCommand is in closed beta and purchases are not yet available. These terms take effect at public launch; updates will be posted on this page.

These Terms govern PalCommand subscriptions sold by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.) as merchant of record. PalCommand is operated from Queensland, Australia. Contact: [email protected]. Mandatory consumer rights in your location are not excluded.

1. Product and account

PalCommand is locally installed Windows software for managing Palworld dedicated servers. There is no permanent Free plan in this release model. An active trial or subscription may be used on up to three active devices. Your servers, saves, and backups remain local and are not deleted because access expires, payment fails, a device is revoked, or the account enters Safety Mode.

2. Plans and price

The planned offers are US$5.99 monthly and US$49.99 annually, with tax displayed at checkout. Checkout is the authoritative price/currency for your purchase. Do not enable checkout if product copy, provider configuration, or these terms disagree. Plan changes and any proration are shown by Polar before confirmation.

3. Card-required seven-day trial

Eligible new customers may start one seven-day trial. A payment method is required at checkout. The exact trial end and first charge date must be shown before confirmation and in the account page/reminder. Unless cancelled before that date, the selected paid subscription begins and the payment method is charged. Trials do not receive offline grace. Recreating an account does not create another trial where a pseudonymous consumed-trial record remains.

4. Automatic renewal

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price disclosed at checkout until cancelled. Before confirmation, checkout must show the plan, total, currency, tax, trial/card requirement, first charge date, renewal interval, and how to cancel. PalCommand sends one reminder about 48 hours before the trial converts; delivery failure does not extend the trial or replace the disclosure at checkout.

Any legally required advance notice of a price or term change must be delivered before renewal, following the notice period that applies in your country.

5. Cancellation and Safety Mode

Cancel at any time through Account > Manage billing or contact support if the portal is unavailable. Cancellation prevents future renewal and normally preserves paid access through the current paid period shown in the account. It does not delete local data.

When a trial ends, a first payment fails, a refund/chargeback revokes access, or entitlement cannot be verified, PalCommand may enter Safety Mode. It preserves observation, save, graceful stop, verified manual backup, export/deletion, account/billing, and read-only MCP, but blocks mutating management operations. It never automatically stops or deletes a running server.

6. Payment failure, refunds, and chargebacks

Polar processes payments and provider dunning. A failed first charge enters Safety Mode immediately; an established paid subscription may remain available only through the provider state and signed grace boundary. No trial grace is offered.

Voluntary refund policy: request a refund for a first payment within 14 days by emailing [email protected] with enough order information to locate the purchase. Renewals, plan changes, partial periods, abuse, and exceptional circumstances are reviewed under the checkout terms and applicable law. Polar issues approved refunds to the original payment method. This policy does not limit statutory remedies.

Contact support before a chargeback where practical; using support is not a condition of any legal right.

7. Consumer guarantees and claims

Nothing in these Terms or the EULA excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law and applicable regional digital-content rules. To make a claim, email [email protected] with the order reference, problem, requested remedy, and safe diagnostic information. Never email credentials, portal links, account exports, or world saves.

Regional withdrawal rights, refund timing, reimbursement method, warranty, limitation, tax-record, dispute, and governing-law terms apply as required by the law of your country.

8. Account deletion and billing records

Account deletion does not cancel a subscription and never deletes local server data. If a trial or subscription is still current, PalCommand records the deletion request but keeps the account, sessions, devices, and fresh customer-portal access available so you can cancel renewal. Final deletion requires a recent sign-in after a signed provider event reports the subscription as cancelled, expired, or refunded. It then revokes cloud/device credentials and removes the profile data described in the Privacy Policy. Billing, tax, refund, dispute, fraud, and pseudonymous trial records may be retained only for the approved legal period described there.

9. Changes to these terms

Terms are versioned. Material changes apply only with the notice and consent required by law and do not silently rewrite an already-paid period. The checkout and account page must link the effective versions accepted for the purchase/renewal.
